Dec. 6, 1949 - Oct. 12, 2012

MIDDLEBURY - Donna Barton, 62, of Middlebury, died at 6:25 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, in her residence after a battle with cancer.

She was born on Dec. 6, 1949, in Goshen to Frank R. and Vera June (Landraff) Gay.

Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer J. Barton of Middlebury and Amanda (William) Grubbs of Niles, Mich.; granddaughter Madalynn Grubbs; father Frank Gay of Constantine, Mich.; sister Jean Bradley of Constantine; and two brothers, David (Denise) Gay of Middlebury and Bruce Gay of Sturgis, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Margaret McBride.

She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening and loved to cook.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Goshen. Chaplin Marshall Donegan will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to United Cancer Center.
