Memories and Condolences

Bobbie Starr, Elkhart, IN

MY grandmother was a very special person to me. Life wasn't easy but grandma was always making easier to deal with she made you realize that somebody else had it harder. When you needed her she was there or had a secret you could share it with her. Grandma you will be missed and Thank you for everything big or little. I will miss hearing you singing, playing or that big crazy smile on your face your granddaughter Bobbie

Evelyn was a wonderful loving mother in law , with a great sense of humor. One of my favorite memories is when she asked me to teach her to drive, great fun , she is missed and loved. Cathy Smith

I am a 911 operator/dispatcher for Elkhart and over the years, got to know Evelyn, often visiting at her home or over the phone. I have two beautiful afghans that Evelyn made me, as she took pride in making afghans for new dispatchers. She will be missed, but I'm confident she is with God in heaven. Her faith and love off everyone was evident. God bless her family during this painful time.
