GOSHEN - Talmadge E. Simcox, 79, died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 28, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born July 8, 1933, in Crossville, Tenn., to Henry and Viller (Key) Simcox. On Dec. 30, 1968, he married Ruby Ramsey in Muncie. She died Nov. 3, 1984.
He is survived by two brothers, Elbert (Doris) Simcox of Dayton, Ohio, and Raybon (Helen) Simcox of South Haven, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cluie D. and Barney Simcox; and a sister, Ella Dee Crabtree.
Mr. Simcox moved to Goshen from Whiteland in 1965. He worked as a press operator and in maintenance for Mogul Rubber Co. He enjoyed spending time in the garden, growing irises.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Shrock will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery.
