LIGONIER - Billy Middleton, 74, of Ligonier, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at IU Goshen Health Hospital.

He was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Booneville.

He was married to Eleanor Keifer. She preceded him in death July 8, 2008.

He was a forklift driver for the RV industry in Elkhart County.

Surviving is a son, William R. (Willima) Middleton of Indianapolis; a daughter, Donna (John) Karres of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Tonya Keifer of Sarasota, Fla.; and a brother, Bobby (Patty) Middleton of Gary; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor; daughter Melody Middleton; son Scott Middleton; and four siblings.

Cremation will take place.

Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is handling the arrangements.

I am sorry I did not get to say good-bye...Good-bye grandpa, I love you and I know that you are in a better place and you are reunited with grandma and you finally got your chance to tell her the goodbye you were not able to say before she passed, now you both will forever be together.. tell grandma I love her and miss her as well.. I wish that someone in the family could have let your step-childrens side of the family know what was going on so we all could have had our chance to say good-bye to you. But you know what that's alright I will get to say my goodbye to you when I see you again.. I love you Grandpa..
