Sandra K. Sienicki

MISHAWAKA - Sandra Kay (Ludwig) Sienicki, 55, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly at her place of business, Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012.

She was born on July 3, 1957, in Mishawaka to Harvey and Charlotte (Butts) Ludwig.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte, in 2006.

She is survived by her father, Harvey, of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Russell (Betty) Ludwig of Mishawaka and Mark Ludwig of Elkhart. Also surviving are her niece and nephews, Amber (Dan) Schmidtke of St. Louis, Mo., Joel Ludwig of Mishawaka, and Brandon (Jenny) Ludwig; and a great-niece, Olivia Rose Ludwig of South Bend.

Sandy was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mishawaka, a 1975 graduate of Penn High School and a graduate of Herron School of Arts, Indianapolis. In 2010 she got her certificate from the American Picture Framing Academy.

Sandy owned a framing business, Wind in the Willows Custom Framing, in Elkhart. This is something that she always wanted and loved to do. She also worked at Superior Piece Parts for 27 years.

She loved her cats, dancing with her friends and watching the Fighting Irish and the Bears.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka and for one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, funeral services at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mishawaka.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
