ALLEGAN, Mich. - Douglas R. Smith, 75, of Allegan and formerly of Indiana Lake, near Bristol, Ind., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Allegan.

The Logansport native worked as a driver for Scamper Corp in Bristol.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Richard Smith; and sister Jean Auston.

Survivors include his brother, James J. (Mary) Smith of Cassopolis; and his sister, Barbara (Robert) Emmert of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
