GOSHEN - Ernest Hauck Jr., 71, died early Saturday morning, Dec. 22, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

Ernest "Bud" was born March 14, 1941, in Huntington to Ernest Sr. and Betty (Steele) Hauck.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Hauck; a sister, Linda Damron; a brother, Mark Hauck; and a nephew, Brian Damron, all of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Kevin Damron.

A lifelong Goshen resident, he worked for IXL Furniture Co. and Homecrest, retiring in 2003. While working at Homecrest he loved to bowl on the company league team and won several first-place awards.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
