GOSHEN - Dorothy R. Rockwood, 86, died Friday evening, Dec. 21, 2012, at Trident Hospital, Charleston, S.C.

She was born May 3, 1926, in Wauwatosa, Wis., to Louis and Emma Sponer.

She married Richard H. Rockwood on June 26, 1948, in West Allis, Wis. He died Aug. 14, 2010.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Ransom) Pressler of Bristol, Laurie (Alan) Fix of Goose Creek, S.C., and Jenny (Jerry) Schoenauer of Middlebury; a son, Jon E. (Deborah) Rockwood of Smyrna, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert (Chris) Sponer.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marian Koch and Alice Kohlwey.

Mrs. Rockwood was a member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Norm Replogle, West Goshen Church of the Brethren, will officiate.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
