Sonja L. Dimos

March 29, 1942 - Dec. 21, 2012

STURGIS, Mich. - Sonja L. Dimos, 70, of Sturgis, died in her home.

She was born in Elkhart, Ind., on March 29, 1942. She married Loren E. Dimos on Aug. 27, 1970.

She was retired and working part-time at the Sturgis Salvation Army.

Surviving are two sons, Steven (Cindy) Dimos of Lagrange, Ind., and Gregory (Kim) Dimos of Jones; her daughter, Debra Dunn of Wolcottville, Ind.; one sister, Sue Meeks of Elkhart; one brother, Larry Frisby of North Carolina; and eight grandchildren, Dustin, Devin, Nicholas, Jake, Hope, Derrick Jr., Dylan and Dawson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren, and brother Joseph.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Mottville (Ind.) Community Church. A memorial service will follow immediately at 4 p.m., with a dinner to follow at the fellowship hall.
