ELKHART- Dall R. "Rick" Kyle, 49, of Elkhart, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in his home.

He was born Jan. 8, 1963, in Anderson to the late Dallas and Maxine (Jones) Kyle. On May 5, 1990, in Bristol, he married Kellie K. Reed.

She survives along with two children, Kasie Kyle and Beau Kyle, both of Elkhart; two brothers, David (Sharon) Kyle of Alexandria and Kevin (Brenda) Kyle of Indianapolis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rick was employed at Wells Cargo.

He was an avid IU basketball fan who bled cream and crimson. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting NASCAR memorabilia.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. A celebration of life service for Rick will follow at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at the funeral home. Pastor David Kyle (Rick's brother, a retired United Methodist minister) will officiate.

Cremation will follow with burial at a later date in Rice Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
